"The
History and Archeology of the Great Lakes Steamboat Niagara"
by John O. Jensen - This 32 page report details a survey done by the State Historical Society of Wisconsin on the
historic steamer Niagara which burned off Wisconsin's Lake Michigan coast in the 1850s. Her remains were located
in the 1970s and are now a major dive attraction. Jensen, along with the Wisconsin Underwater Archeology Association
spent months surveying the wreck which resulted in this most interesting report. It was printed in the Wisconsin
Magazine of History and is still available from the publisher.
