Shipwrecks of the Sleeping Bear
by Steve Harold - Steve Harold is one of the leading authorities on the marine disasters of northeastern Lake Michigan.  His 1984 booklet on Sleeping Bear shipwrecks is one of the few reference materials available for wrecks of that area and is painstakingly researched.  It includes a number of rare black and white photos and is one of the best done small booklets I have seen.  34 different wrecks are covered in great detail and a map of area wrecks is included.  Although not a divers guide, some underwater photos are included.  The book is published by the Pioneer Study Center in Traverse City, Michigan but is probably out of print.  I was only able to find one copy on an out of print book search, so if you don't have this one, get it fast.
