In the Belly of a Whale - Duluth's Shipwreck Tragedy
by Elmer Engman - This little softcover book contains good first hand information about the wreck of the whaleback Thomas Wilson just off Duluth, Minnesota.  Engman is an accomplished and respected diver and marine historian and has done an excellent job of recounting the life of the Thomas Wilson.  The book also includes underwater photos, an in depth description (no pun intended), and many historical photos.  The book has been out of print for quite some time, but J. Tuttle Maritime Books in Madison, WI still has about 10 copies.  This is a little softcover booklet and still goes for only $10 - $20.  It is a must have item for any Lake Superior diver or collector.
