by Elmer Engman - This little softcover book contains good first hand information about shipwrecks of the Minnesota and Wisconsin shores of Lake Superior. Engman wrote the book in 1976, so it reflects what was known at that time. However, the book contains Engman's own rough sitemaps and directions to all the wrecks. This is a good book for anybody planning to dive the area. The book is currently out of print, but copies can still be obtained from the Great Lakes Historical Society Museum Shop through their catalog. Amazon.com also stocks it.
