By Paul J. Creviere Jr. - P.J. Creviere has created an excellent encyclopedia of the marine losses of northwestern Lake Michigan. The Creviere family were owners of a local newspaper and P.J. poured over more than a century of news microfilm to distill this information. Despite some minor errors and omissions, this is currently the best book in print covering wrecks on Lake Michigan. It is a must for any Lake Michigan marine historian and is also available in hardcover.
