by David Cooper - This most interesting book details the fieldwork of former State Underwater Archeologist David Cooper in Door County during the 1989 season. Cooper, along with a team from East Carolina University and members of the WUAA performed an indepth magnetometer survey of Death's Door in search of the many legendary shipwrecks which occurred there. The results of the survey are presented here in many archeological sitemaps as well as a summary of all the "hits" that the team had with the magnetometer. This is truly one of the most interesting Great Lakes wreckhunting and history books I own.
